I've had some iffy experiences with a lot of the local tire joints and I'm looking for a new "go-to" shop. My current issue is a leaky tire, and I want a shop that will help me fix the current tire without continuously haggling me to buy a new one (the tire has maybe 2k on it).
I'm not sure if other people feel this way, but I get tired real quick of techs acting like they know more about your car than you do. When I tell a shop what I want done, I want a "yes we can do that" or a "no".
Thanks for any input

I trust the Havoline Xpress Lube in Greystone at the intersection of 280 and 119 with my tire needs. They're a Tire Rack recommended installer.
Have you thought about metal valve stems? I get those done on new tires. They last just about forever and they're designed to minimize leakage that rubber stems can be notorious for.

I work for Galleria Tire Center next to sams off 150. Everyone there is certified and very quality oriented. Most places are looking to make a sale. We will take care of you if you come by. We won't try and sell you a tire unless you truly need one. We look for all wear patterns, signs of belt separation, feathering, and out of round wear. We patch from the inside and rebalance after every flat repair.
